Mena Jean Boykin Stone, 81, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016. She was born March 30, 1935 in Johnston County to the late Dewey and Mildred Boykin. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son Gregory Thomas Stone; brothers, Keith and Carl Boykin.

Jean is survived by her husband, Ronald Stone; daughters, Rhonda Stone Matthews (Reuben) and Lisa Stone Jones (Jeff); three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers, Billy and Gerald Boykin and sisters, Betty Denton and Hilda Painter.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Stoneyhill FreeWill Baptist Church. Visitation will follow the service and other times at the home of Lisa Jones 7179 Hoyt Rd Middlesex, NC 27557. Burial will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in the Stone Family Cemetery of Bailey.
