Alice Hale Pernell, 68, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016. She was born September 13, 1947 in Nash County to the late Ben and Doris Mosley Hale. In addition to her parents, "Al" was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Pernell; three sons, Milton Scott, Gregory and Frankie Pernell; two brothers, Benny Ray and Owen Hale.

She is survived by two daughters, Sonya Pernell Campbell and husband Chris, April Pernell; three brothers, Johnny (Debbie), Kenneth ( Dorothy) and Danny Hale; sister-in-law, Rivers Hale; 4 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with visitation to follow.
