Betty Jean Satterfield Casper, 69, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016. She was born June 7, 1946 in Nash County to the late Willie and Cora Bass Satterfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marie May.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Red Casper; son, Kenny Casper (Kim); daughter, Angela Phillips (Donald); 4 grandchildren,; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Jamie Anderson (Cathy); sisters, Shelia Wall, Nessie Wolfe (Rick); and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at The Chapel of Memories Mausoleum of Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Dal Coppedge officiating.
