Julius "Cussie" Perry, 84, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 1 p.m. from Word Tabernacle Church in Rocky Mount with the Rev. Bishop Nathan Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Perry's Missionary Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Lealer Perry, of the home; a daughter, Joyce Carter, and her husband Jerry, of Rocky Mount; three sons, Julius B. Perry, of Rocky Mount, Michael J. Perry, of Lakewood, NJ and Clayton D. Perry and his wife, Debroah, of Greenville, SC; five sisters, Gertie Evand, Savannah Bolton, Lucy Alston and her husband, Willie, all of Inez, Marion Peterson, of Durham and Minister Hazel Blount and her husband, Larry, of Roanoke Rapids; four brothers, Bishop Genie Perry and his wife, Ruth, of Inez, Ronald Perry, of Newark, NJ, James Perry of Henderson and Michael Perry, of Raleigh; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Wake services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
