William Henry Lewis, 77, of Middlesex, passed away on April 21, 2016 at Avante at Wilson.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Spring Hope Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was at Hollywood Cemetery, Middlesex.

He was born in Nash County, August 27, 1938. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leamon William Lewis and Mollie Strickland Lewis.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lois Whitley Lewis and sister-in-law, Joyce W. Peele.
