Phyllis Levensaler Rose, age 82, of Nashville, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016. She was born in Walterboro, Maine on February 27, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Alton Levensaler and Camilla Zeeman Levensaler. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine Levensaler Miller and a daughter, Brenda Leigh Rose.

In addition to her husband, Ed, she is survived by daughter, Debra Rose Hamilton (Bill) of Stephens City, Va and step-son, Ronald Stewart VanBuren (Karen) of Greensboro; 4 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday, April 19, with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Level Baptist Church, 3598 Oak Level Rd, Rocky Mount. A funeral service will immediately follow at the church beginning at 12 noon with Interim Pastor, Rick Downing officiating. There will be no graveside service following the funeral. A private family Internment service will follow at a later date.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers gifts may be made to Oak Level Baptist Church.
