Beatrice "Bea" Brown, 80, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Hollister, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 12 p.m. from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Herman Lee Brown, and his wife, Rosalind, of Zebulon and Donte Brown and his wife, Beverly, of Washington, DC; four sisters, Emma Robertson, of Raleigh, Mittie "Bubba" Williams and her husband, Stanley, of Warrenton, Helen Taylor of Rocky Mount and Louise Brown of Oklahoma City, OK; three brothers, Ernest "Pete" Brown and his wife, Betty, of Boston, MA, June Harris Brown, and her husband, Dean, of Clayton and Benjamin Brown and his wife, Betty, of Rocky Mount.; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
