Cindy Vick Wheeless, age 60, of Red oak, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Born in Nash County on August 22, 1955, she was preceded in death by her father, Billy Boy Vick, Sr.; her father-in-law, Billy Wheeless; and her mother-in-law, Bertha Barnes Wheeless.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Edward Osmon "Ossie" Wheeless; her daughters, Cortney Wheeless of Wilmington; Caroline Aycock and husband, Justin, of Red Oak; Candace Garland and husband, Michael, of Siler City; and Claire Swanson and husband, Ryan, of Vicenza, Italy; her mother, Mary Minshew of Red Oak; her brother, Billy Boy Vick, Jr.; and many aunts; uncles; brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.

Services were held Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Larry Flowers officiating. Burial followed at Red Oak Cemetery.
