Georgia Cooper Everette, 88, passed away March 26, 2016. She was born in Nash County to the late Willie H. and Mattie Boone Cooper. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Dick" Aaron Everettte, Sr.; a son, James "Dickie" Aaron Everette, Jr. and a sister, Ruth Cooper Batchelor.

She is survived by her daughters, Lynda Everette and husband, Gregg Adams of Nashville and Martha Everette of the home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Rock Creek Baptist Church with burial following the service in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Monday, March 28, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Rock Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 1238 Rock Creek Dr., Nashville, NC 27856.
