Russell Howard Boykin, age 76, of Elm City, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016. Born in Edgecombe County on January 21, 1940, he was the son of the late Russell Howard Boykin and Mattie Burnette Boykin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Copeland Boykin.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 21, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
