Martha B. Brodie, 85, of Louisburg, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016. Funeral services were held March 9, 2016 from the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Louisburg. Burial was at the Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery. The Rev. N.P. Brodie officiated.
She is survived by her daughters, Nellie Chavis of Asheboro, Mary Rogers (Fred) of Nashville, Carolyn Brodie of Louisburg, Rose Allen (Gene) of Raleigh and Sandra Brodie of the home; sons, Bernard Brodie (Donita) of Clayton, Calvin Brodie (Debra) of Bunn, Willie Brodie of the home, Gaither Brodie (Nonie) of Louisburg, Howard Brodie, and Mark Brodie, both of Louisburg; sister, Frances Alston of Louisburg; 27 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
