Rosa Elizabeth Battle, 88, of Nashville, passed away March 12, 2016. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2106 at 1 p.m. from Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, Nashville with Rev. Tyrone P. Jones officiating. Burial is in Oakland Cemetery, Nashville with Randall Miller Funeral Service, Inc. and Richardson Funeral Home, Nashville directing.

She is survivied by her brother, James L. Stallings (Bettye); sister, Pattie Stallings Vick; 7 nieces; 5 nephews; cousins and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewitt T. and Cleo Stallings; husband, Joseph D. Battle; son, Joseph "Joey" Battle.
