Charles Exum "Papa" Hunter Sr., 76 the youngest child of William Exum and Nannie Bell Hunter, passed away on Tuesday, March 8th, 2016.

He was preceeded in death by his wife Lela Cooke Hunter of 50 years, 4 Months and 7 days, his oldest son Charles E. Hunter Jr. and his siblings, Billy Hunter, Margaret Cooke, "Shorty" Hunter, Grace Sullivan, "Kat" Williams and Ruth Futrell.

He is survived by his children Felicia Hunter, William Hunter and Wife Kim, daughter in-law Renee Hunter and sister Sarah Cooke; two grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Services were held Saturday, March 12, 2016. Burial followd at the Hunter Family Cemetery Whitakers.
