Maxine Smith, age 87, of Rocky Mount, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016. Born in Montgomery County, IL on December 30, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Elbert Titsworth and Gladys Compton Titsworth.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Homer Smith; daughter, Lynn Bruza and husband, Mike, of St. Louis, MO; son, Mark Smith and wife, Deena, of Wann, OK; and daughter, Mary Ellen Marshall and husband, Jeff, of Rocky Mount; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Elm Lawn Cemetery, Litchfield, IL.
