Elizabeth "Ann" Carter, 76, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016.

In addition to her husband Raymond, she was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Henry Marks, Sr. and Addie Jefferys Marks, son, Raymond Perry Carter, Jr. and special friend, Pee Wee Joyner.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Vick (Rev. Ray); son, Daniel Henry Carter (Ann):two grandchildren; one step-grandchild; brothers, Joe Marks, Jr., Glenn Marks and David Marks(Faye); sisters, Betty Mangum, Nancy Jones (Ernie), Edith Bone and Dale Cockrell (Johnny).

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 2 pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Braziel and Rev. Woody Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm til 2:00 pm prior to the service.
