William (Bill) Patterson, 64, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016. He was born March 7, 1951 in Edgecombe County to the late Julian Carlyle and Susan Yvonne Patterson.

He is survived by his daughters, Anna G. Patterson of Whitakers, Courtney L. Eason and husband, Earnie of Nashville; sister, Peggy Bottoms of Rocky Mount; brothers, Jim Patterson and wife, Darlene of Whitakers, Phil Patterson and wife, Katharine of Whitakers; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Corinth Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Coggin Officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
