Garland "Buddy" Lee Edgerton, Jr., 64 years old, born February 19, 1951, passed away January 28, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Garland Lee Edgerton, Sr. and Margaret Harris Edgerton, and his sister Barbara Ann Edgerton Pittman.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kay Edgerton; his three children, Chris (Melinda) Edgerton of Kannapolis, Katie (Chris) Wood of Winterville, and David (Beth) Edgerton of Rocky Mount; his sister, Paulette (Charles) Alford of Emerald Isle; one nephew; nine grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at Englewood Baptist Church at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016. The visitation will follow the service. A private burial will be held later. Pastor Tony Bossolona of Rocky Mount and Pastor Jerry Edwards of Benson, will officiate.
