James Martin Stevey, 65, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016. He was born August 12, 1950 in Nash County. He was preceded death by his parents, Calvin and Hattie Jones Stevey and a daughter, Cathy Lynn Stevey.

He is survived by three sons, David Stevey and wife Samantha, Chris Stevey, Kevin Stevey and wife Heather; one daughter, Chrystal Walters and husband Anthony; five grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at Faith Family Worship Center at a later date.
