David "Van" Rowland, 56, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016. He was born October 28, 1959 in Nash County to the late Percy and Velma Vanhook Rowland.

He is survived by his wife Janet Boone Rowland; one son, Justin V. Rowland; two daughters, Gina R. Trotto and husband Kris, Amber Rowland and fiancé Logan Roberson; two brothers, Thaxton Rowland and wife Bobbie Jean, Steve Rowland; 2 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 12:30-2 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Rev. Daniel Moss officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone.
