Marsh Dresden Deaver, age 74, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016. Born in Cumberland County on December 3, 1941, he was the son of the late Roscoe Ferrell Deaver and Mary Trevathan Deaver.

He is survived by his son Dennis D. Deaver and his wife, Sharon, of Elm City; two grand-children; two sisters Lucille Deans and Virginia Bills; and his brother Ferrell Deaver; and many nieces and nephews.

A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
