Evelyn Tharrington Jackson, age 95, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Zollie D. Tharrington and Minnie Whitfield Tharrington.

She is survived by her nephews Ricky and Martin Jackson as well as numerous Jackson family members.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
