Rita Ann Cowan Woods, 53, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015. She was born April 13, 1962 in Nash County to the late Bar and Hilda Anderson Cowan.

She is survived by her husband of three years, Willis Woods; two sons, Josh Hill of Spring Hope and Jason Hill of Nashville; step-son, Kasey Woods of Goldsboro; step-daughters, Ocean Strutton of Nashville, Kelsey Woods of Goldsboro; one brother, Donnie Cowan of Spring Hope; two step-grandchildren.
