Jennie "Tennie" Evans, 76, of Louisburg, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 24, 2015 at 12 p.m. from the Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Castalia. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Church Cemetery. The Rev. Thomas Richardson will officiate.
She is survived by her daughters, Dorraine Tucker of Bunn, Diane Blackmond (Derek) of Louisburg; sons, James Evans (Jacqueline) of Youngsville, and Lamont Evans (Kristy) of the home; sisters Inetta Evans of Wilson and Barbara Evans of Louisburg; brothers, Mike Evans (Lucy) of Castalia, Percy "Bob" Evans of Castalia, Douglas "Bear" Evans (Cat) and James "Tom" Evans (Earnestine), all of Louisburg; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
