Penny L. Pridgen, age 80, of Spring Hope, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 21, 2015 at Spaulding Family Resource Center in Spring Hope. Interment will follow at Spring Hope Memorial Gardens.

A Wake will be held from 7-8 p.m., Sunday, December 20, 2015 at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.

She is survived by five daughters, Josephine Carpenter, Betty Perry (Carl), Carolyn Baker (Willie), Sherrie Hall (Stewart) all of Spring Hope, and BeLinda Howard (Stephen) of Rocky Mount; five sons, Levester Moore, Jr. of Zebulon, Garry Moore and Michael Moore of Spring Hope, Deon Moore of Latrobe, PA and Douglas Pridgen of Stanhope; four sisters, Selma Holden of Knightdale, Queen Brown of Spring Hope, Martha Hartsfield (Alzona) of Zebulon and Vickie Lassiter of Louisburg; two brothers, Joseph Smith and Bobby Ray Smith both of Zebulon; 32 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
