Frances Redmond Weaver, age 88, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015. Born in Wilson County on January 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late William German Redmond and Margie Elizabeth Williamson Redmond. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Troy Weaver; her sisters, Mamie Redmond, Ella Ruth Madigan, Meredith Clark and Margie Williford Jones.
She is survived by her son, Troy Weaver and his wife, Ann, of West Columbia, SC; her daughters, Candee Weaver Davis and her husband, Billy, of Rocky Mount; and Kay Weaver Bailey and her husband, Roy, of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Doris Brake of Rocky Mount; Barbara Braziel of Elm City; and Brenda Lucas of Rocky Mount.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Joshua Kelly officiating.
