Louraine Ingram Strickland, age 96, of Wilson, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. Born in Faison on September 4, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Bryant Everett Ingram and Addie Lee Ingram. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Daniel "Ray" Strickland; and her brother, Lemmie Ingram.

She is survived by her son, Roger Wayne Strickland; daughter-in-law, Barbara Anne Strickland; three granddaughters; nine great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Englewood United Methodist Church, 300 S. Circle Drive, Rocky Mount with Pastor John Dutton officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 12:00 Noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Louraine's name to Englewood United Methodist Church, 300 S. Circle Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
