Ronel "Ronnie" Mallie Powell, Jr., 64, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015. He was born August 30, 1951 to the late Ronel M. Sr. and Doris Batchelor Powell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; David and Joe Powell.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Gaye Shackelford Powell; one daughter, Becky Powell Perry and husband David; one brother, William "Billy" Powell and wife Betty Carol; one grandchild.

A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 6 p.m. at Temperance Hall United Methodist Church with Pastor David Hutchins officiating.
