Antony Ian Martin



After a long battle with lymphoma, on November 13, 2015, Tony Martin earned his way into heaven. Born in Melbourne Australia on January 4, 1959, he attended School at Wesley College and Box Hill Technical School. He moved to North Carolina after meeting his wife, Anna Bradley, at a friend's wedding in Rocky Mount. They have lived in Nashville and Wake Forest since moving to NC in 1990. He was the owner of Dynamic Design Build in Raleigh.

Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Judith May Croll Martin and his sister, Peatra-Lee Sybil Martin Mathieson. He is survived by his wife, Anna Martin, of Wake Forest; his sons, William Bradley Martin and Patrick Ian Martin; his father, Ian Aumont Martin of Shepparton, Victoria, Australia. Niece, Victoria Mathieson, and nephew, Hunter Mathieson, have a special place in his heart.

A memorial service was held at 3:30 pm Tuesday afternoon, November 17, 2015 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center to support research to find a cure for cancer or to his favorite non-profit, The USO of North Carolina.

Visitation was from 2:30-3:30 prior to the service.
