Melody Chennine Pitts Babcock, age 53, of Morehead City, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015. Born in Nash County, NC on August 4, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Bennett Wayne Pitts and Ruby Faye Edwards Daughtridge.

She is survived by her daughters, Jessica Leigh Braswell of Raleigh, Casey Fallon Brennan of Pikeville, and Chelsea Dawn Brennan of Morehead City; her sister, Michelle Pitts-Vuinovich of Newport; her step-father, Frank Daughtridge of Rocky Mount; a niece and great-niece.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. David McBryar officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
