Lucille Kyger Garrett, age 85, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015. Born on January 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Jane and Archie Kyger. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years and the love of her life, David Lee Garrett.

She is survived by two daughters, Davia Wells (Tim) of the Boones Mill and Rocky Mount, VA community, and Belinda Faulkner (John) of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; one sister, Edna Mae Fendlay; one brother, Leo Kyger; and numerous nephews and a niece.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 3 p.m. at the Chapel of Memories at Rocky Mount Memorial Gardens. A visitation will immediately follow the service at the Chapel.
