Junie Dee Pearce, age 81, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015. He was born in Nash County on April 9, 1934 to the late Lula Frazier Pearce and the late Leamon Dee Pearce.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Ann Drake Pearce.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Dee Pearce and wife Renee of Rocky Mount and Philip Drake Pearce of Yonkers, NY; two grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Carol Drake Mears and husband Tommy of Rocky Mount; one niece; special friend Marjorie Ramsey.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Rocky Mount. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made in the memory of Junie to Alzheimer's Association, Eastern NC Region, 3737 Glenwood Avenue, Suite 100, Raleigh, NC 27612.
