Johnnie "Jay" H. Richardson, 80, of Hollister, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church in Warrenton with the Rev. Willie Silver and Rev. Julius Davis officiating. Burial was in Magnolia Garden Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Jean M. Richardson, of the home; two step sons, Raimundo A. Lopez and his wife, Janice, of Fayetteville and Christopher A. Tann, of Brooklawn, NJ; four sisters, Malissie Reid, and her husband, Joe, of Red Oak, Magnolia Richardson and her husband, Jack of Hollister, Sally Brinson and her husband, Milton, of Rocky Mount and Evaline Silver, of Richmond, VA; two brothers, Delno Richardson and his wife, Berlean, of Richmond, VA, and Mark Richardson and his wife, Laura, of Hollister; and three grandchildren.
