Marie Rackley Green, 94, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015. She was born on September 4, 1921 to the late Wright and Mary Joyner Collie in Nash County. She was also preceded by two husbands, Mose Rackley and Rueben Green; two brothers, Elmer and Aubrey Collie; and four sisters, Katie Collie, Lois Manning, Nettie Manning, and Bertha Edwards.

She is survived by her son, Danny Rackley and wife Diane; daughter, Beth Perkinson and husband Phil; step-daughters, Brenda Green Culpepper and husband Dennis and Linda Green Freeman and husband Larry; sister, Lucille Collie Cooper; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 5,2015, from 12:30 until 2 pm at the White Oak United Methodist Church in Nashville with a funeral service at 2 pm with Pastor Andrew Hook officiating.
