Barbara Ferrell Pritchett, 68, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015. She was born in Washington D.C. October 20, 1946 to the late Dolphus McCoy Ferrell and Pauline Williams Ferrell. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Edward "Ed" Pritchett.

She is survived by two sons, Andrew and Lee Pritchett; daughter, Angela Pritchett; brother, Roger Ferrell and wife Elaine; sister, Grace Wallace and husband Wayne; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one nephew; one niece. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Cobb and Dr. Harry Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
