Martin Alexander Alston, Sr. 53, passed away September 27th 2015.

Martin was predeceased by his father, John D Alston, Sr., son; Martin Alston Jr., brother; Frederick D. Alston.

He is survived by Iris Alston, the mother of his children; son, Raymond Alston; mother, Idell Alston; brothers, John Alston Jr. (Garnett), Melford Alston (Madeline) of Maryland, Alford Alston of Newport News, Earl Alston (Ann) of Connecticut; one granddaughter; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held Friday Oct. 2, 2015 at Gethsemane Baptist Church, Newport News, VA 23605. A graveside service in Castalia North Carolina on Saturday Oct 3rd.
