James Curtis Copeland, 78, of Nashville, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015. Wake services will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 2, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the Outreach Christian Center in Rocky Mount. Burial will follow in the Baker Cemetery. The Rev. Howard Kendrick will officiate.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes Copeland, of Rocky Mount; daughters, Cynthia, Ellen, and Jamie Copeland, all of Newark, NJ; sisters, Mary Williams of Rocky Mount, Louise Davis of Warrenton, Geneva Vick of Rocky Mount, Nancy Copeland of Rocky Mount, and Sallie Copeland of Elm City.
