Daisy V. Mitchell, 83, of Nashville, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015.

An open visitation will be held Friday, October 2, 2015, from 3-8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 from the Helping Hand Church in Rocky Mount at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the New St. John Church Cemetery. Bishop Robin Atwater will officiate.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Sessoms of Nashville; son, Steve Mitchell of Nashville; sister, Louise Mitchell of Rocky Mount; brother Charles Vines of Rocky Mount; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
