James "Buddy" W. Owens, 70, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015. He was born January 24, 1945 in Brundridge, AL son of the late Brantley Owens and Jessie Jordan Rogers.

Funeral services were held at Saturday, September 19, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Celeste "CJ" Owens, daughters, Lauren Copes (Deidre Bohannon) of West Point, GA, Kami Dykes (Tony) and Chera Riles (Brad) all of Columbus, GA, son, Ashley Owens, sisters, Betty Howard (Ronnie) and Janice Matthews (Mike) all of Smiths, AL; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
