Jeane Davis Williams, age 87, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. Born in Nash County on March 4, 1928, she was youngest child of the late Frank E. Davis and Mattie R. Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wilbur Dean Williams, Sr.; her five sisters and her one brother.

She is survived by her son, Wilbur Dean Williams, Jr. of Rocky Mount; her daughter, Linda W. Cockrell and her husband, Waylon, of Raleigh; one grandson; one great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery with Pastor Mark Pridgen officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 9:30am to 10:30am at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Rocky Mount.
