Lora Emily Zinda, age 96, of Rocky Mount, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015. Born in Ligerlia, Italy on May 31, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Olga Grassi and Julio Grassi. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Zinda and one brother, Aldo Grassi.

She is survived by her daughter, Roberta "Bobbie" Moore and her husband, Bruce, of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Friday, September 11, 2015 from 6:30 to 7:45 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 331 Hammond Street, Rocky Mount. Following the visitation, a rosary will be prayer at the church at 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Loaves and Fishes Pantry, 331 Hammond Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or Mass Offerings in Lora's memory.
