Nancy Rebecca Joyner Viverette, age 86, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015. Born in Nash County on June 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Hendricks C. Joyner and Dora Frances Braswell Joyner. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Myra Mitchner and Dorothy Dale.

She is survived by sons, Patrick Wayne "Ricky" Viverette and his wife, Amy, of Rocky Mount and Mike Viverette and his wife, Rhonda, of Nashville; her daughters, Frances Roberts of Raleigh and Donna Huffman and her husband, Ron of Cedar Point; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Phillip Barton officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
