Ruth Harrell Worsley Hornbeck, 95, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015.

Born in Rocky Mount on November 20, 1919, she was the daughter of the late George F. Harrell, Sr. and Dora Bell Wood Harrell. She is also predeceased by her first husband, David Alton Worsley, and second husband, George A. Hornbeck; siblings, Lucille Harrell Mitchell and George F. Harrell, II.

She is survived by her nephew, George F. Harrell, III of Magnolia, TX; former son-in-law, Mr. Edward Stall and his wife, Stella, of Greenville; and a niece, Anne Smaldone.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 3:00 - 3:45 p.m. in the Narthex of Harper Chapel at First Presbyterian Church, Greenville, SC followed by the funeral service at 4 p.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Dr. Randy Kowalski presiding. A graveside service will be held the next day, Wednesday, at the Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest with her parents and first husband in the "Harrell" family plot.
