Grace Margaret White-Daniel, age 96, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015. Born in Wayne County on June 8, 1919, she was the daughter of the late William A. Crawford, Sr. and Bettie Cook Crawford. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Gray White, Jr. and her second husband, Thomas E. Daniel.

She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Wallace and her husband, Vernon, of Rocky Mount and Hope Manning and her husband, Chuck, of Rocky Mount; three grandsons; three great-grandsons; sisters, Myrtle M. Watson and her husband, Lannis, of Wilson and Mary Stroud of Raleigh; her sister-in-law, Janice Crawford of Raleigh, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Robert Beaman officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Wilson. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
