James Otto Behrendt, age 71, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. He was born on October 18, 1943, the son the late Alfred Behrendt and Katherine Miller Behrendt. He is survived by his brother, Alfred Rudolph Behrendt of Macon, NC. He is also preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in Fayetteville.
