David Earl Cooke, 81, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015. David was born in Nash County to the late Jim and Alma Cooke. He was also predeceased by his wife, Barbara Jean Cooke, and his brothers, Jack and Reggie Cook.

David is survived by his son, David Lee Cooke (Sherry); daughter, Bonnie C. McNamara all of Nashville; three grandchildren; brother, Dan Cooke; girlfriend, Hilda Coppedge.

A funeral service was held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville with Pastor Andrew Hook officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pineview Cemetery.
