Grace Pauline Leonard Johnson, 85, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015. She was born February 19, 1930 in Wake Forest to the late Rev. Jody and Jessie Leonard.

She is survived by James D. Johnson, husband of 66 years; four children, Brenda Mack and husband Fred, Dwain Johnson and wife Janet, Van Johnson and wife Shelly, Danny Johnson and wife Michelle; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Rev. Joseph Leonard, David Leonard, Ina Stancil, Marian "Millie" Capel, Priscilla Cutts and Josephine Dennis; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 5 p.m. at Ridgecrest Worship Center with visitation following. Committal will be Monday, August 24, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ridgecrest Worship Center @ 1120 West Mount Drive, Rocky Mount.
