Bernice Lewis Whitaker , 72, of Rocky Mount, died on Saturday, August 15, 2015.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2015, in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, August 22, 2015, at St. Paul Baptist Church, 1151 N. Winstead Avenue, in Rocky Mount. The Interment will take place immediately following the service in Jones Family Cemetery in Rocky Mount,.
