Ethel Marie "Zooda" Harrell, age 73, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2015. Born in Nash County on January 6, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Seth Adcock and Dora Tanner Adcock. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Harrell; her daughter, Sara Lynn; and her brothers, Eddie Adcock and Jackie Adcock.

She is survived by her two sons, Johnny Harrell of Macclesfield, and Douglas Harrell of Tillery; three grandchildren; and sister, Evelyn Louise Pitts of Rocky Mount.

Services were held Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services Rocky Mount with Marvin Harrell officiating.
