Marlo Cephus Evans, 64, of Whitakers, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Wake services will be held Friday, August 14 from 6-7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville. A funeral service will be hdl Saturday, August 15 at 2 p.m. from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery. The Rev. Thomas Richardson will officiate.

Survivors include: daughters, Crystal Renee Evans and Brigett Shaunte Evans, both of Whitakers; sons, Toma Anthany Evans (Debbie) of Whitakers, and Marcus Laquan Evans (Kristy) of Battleboro; sisters, Romaine Evans and Joyce Faye Coppedge, both of Nashville; brothers, Willie Bee Evans of Halifax, Blake Evans and Andrew Evans, both of Nashville, James Evans of Louisburg, Nevin Evans of Holliers and Arvid Lee Evans of Raleigh; and 10 great grandchildren.
