Clifton Lee Shearin, 77, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015. He was born in Halifax County on February 22, 1938 to the late Thomas Robert and Ida Mae Harper Shearin. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Leigh Shearin; a brother, William Shearin and a step daughter, Katie Medford.

Clifton is survived by his son, Rocky Shearin of Colerain, NC; a daughter, Brenda Adams(Roger) of Colerain, NC.; five grandchildren; two step grandchildren 10 great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Thomas(Bill)of Dublin, Va.; brothers, Richard Shearin of Nashville, Mack Shearin(Betty), and Claude Shearin(Ruby) both of Battleboro and many nieces and nephew..
